RESPIREMOS UNIT OF NEUMOLOGIA AND RESPIRATORY ENDOSCOPY OF THE EJE CAFETERO S.A.S, was born from the incidence and prevalence of a high mortality rate due to acute and chronic lung diseases in Colombia and mainly in the Coffee Region; Our specialized medical care unit with a clinical approach and a multidisciplinary medical team is then created on May 4, 2007 in order to provide users with comprehensive care, making use of invasive, non-invasive diagnostic and endoscopic procedures, looking for accurate diagnoses. Achieving the cure of most patients and / or providing a better quality of life.
The services provision begins as a provider for Risaralda Comfamiliar Clinic, with specialized consultation services in Adult Pulmonology, interventional pulmonology procedures and Pulmonary Function laboratory; being pioneers in the use of cutting-edge technologies for the diagnosis of pulmonary diseases with the plethysmographic cabin and with the implementation of equipment for surgical procedures of interventional pulmonology, unique in the Coffee Region.
For the month of August of the year 2010 in compliance with the strategic objectives set by the organization, a headquarters for the care of patients in Megacentro Pinares is inaugurated where other additional services are implemented to the specialized consultation in Adult Pneumology and the laboratory of Pulmonary. Functioning as a consultation for Pediatric Pulmonology, sleep studies, electrodiagnostic, Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation with a group of subspecialists consisting of four adult pulmonologists and a pediatric pulmonologist, thus achieving individual recognition in the market as a specialized IPS in Pulmonology, becoming the only one with these characteristics in the Region.
In 2017, the process of national expansion was strengthened with the implementation of strategic alliances, that materialized with the opening of a headquarters in Tuluá, with specialized consulting services in pulmonology, pulmonary function laboratory, sleep and electrodiagnostic laboratory, and pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiac at the service of the population of Valle del Cauca. With these expansion plans outside the Coffee Region, its name is restructured to RESPIREMOS NEUMOLOGIA AND ENDOSCOPY RESPIRATORY.
