Electrodiagnostic and Sleep Laboratory
-
Digital electroencephalogram:
Diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of the brain's nervous system. -
Electrocardiographic monitoring (telemetry) per hour:
Diagnostic procedure that monitors and evaluates the electrical activity of the brain for a certain period of time. An accurate diagnosis of the cerebral alteration and involuntary muscular manifestations is obtained, which are recorded on video for the analysis and confirmation of the disease. -
Diagnostic polysomnography with oxygen monitoring:
Procedure that helps to diagnose sleep disorders such as parasomnias (talking asleep, walking asleep, nightmares, confusing awakenings), confirming the clinical diagnosis of sleep apnea, snoring and other respiratory disorders by alteration in oxygen saturation; Sometimes it also serves to make differential diagnoses with other pathologies such as epilepsy, pre and post-surgical evaluations of people with morbid obesity.

Non-invasive measurement of CO2 or Capnography:
Diagnostic procedure complementary to polysomnography where the amount of carbon dioxide in the exhaled air is measured for the diagnosis of other sleep-related diseases, the impact on pulmonary physiology and the rest of the body. -
Polysomnography with Cpap or Bpap titration:
Study that is used for the treatment of sleep apnea syndrome, which is vital for the management of comorbidities that patients may have such as fatigue, memory impairment, hypertension, obesity, headache, lack of concentration, lack of attention and many other symptoms. -
Multiple latency tests:
Diagnostic test used to determine sleep disorders when there is excessive daytime sleepiness.
